- Our role
- Your side of the table. We represent the company, not a buyer, and bring several buyers to one record.
- Cost to check
- None. We are paid a share of the license fee, and only when you are paid.
- Commitment
- None until you sign. If you go ahead, you sign an exclusive agreement for a fixed period, so buyers deal with one desk.
- Structure
- A license, not a sale. Defined records for a defined use. No equity, no debt. You keep the business and the data.
- Your data
- De-identified before any buyer sees it. Names, emails, phone numbers and account numbers come out, and you approve the copy first.
- Files
- None to start. Samples are by invitation: we agree what to send on a call, then send a private upload link.
- Who qualifies
- Companies with real operating history, in any sector. Length and depth of the record matter more than headcount.
- Out of scope
- Patient records and data you hold for your own clients. Medical data goes to our affiliate, SHFA AI.

What does it cost to check?
Nothing. DataShelf is paid a share of the license fee, and only when your company is paid.
Am I committing to anything?
No. The check and the call commit you to nothing. If you decide to go ahead, you sign an exclusive agreement with DataShelf for a fixed period, so buyers deal with one desk. Nothing is binding until you sign.
Who buys the data?
AI labs and the companies that build training and evaluation sets for them. We take one record to several of them, so you are not limited to the first price offered. We do not name who licensed which data.
Is the data de-identified?
Yes. Names, emails, phone numbers, addresses and account numbers are removed before any buyer sees the record, and you approve the de-identified copy first.
Do I upload anything?
Not to start. The check is answers only. If a buyer needs to see files later, we agree what to send on a call and send you a private upload link.
Can I talk to someone first?
Yes. Book 15 minutes, or write to hello@datashelf.ai. If you do the check first, the call is shorter.
What about medical or patient data?
DataShelf does not handle patient records. Our affiliate SHFA AI does.
